The Upper Platform and AFT Cabinet form an integrated dynamic structure, incorporating high functionality. The Upper Platform and AFT Cabin are products supplied by Industrial Smoke and Mirrors.
The complete structure meets the stiffness demands for wide visual display systems. The AFT Cabin provides sufficient stiffness for installation of the projectors directly on top of the AFT Cabin Structure, without the need for additional support structures.

In general, the Upper Platform includes the following:

* Outriggers and Walkways
* Wire ways for cable routing inside the platform
* Mounting provisions for the cockpit
* Mounting provisions for REALFeel™ Control Loading System
* Interface with the Bosch Rexroth Motion System
* Copper buss bar grounding system, isolated from the frame
* Two cable waterfall rails mounted in the rear outrigger
* Attaching flange for facility supplied air
* Aluminum close out panels on all exterior edges
* Entrance gate in rear hand rails

The cockpit and Control Loading System will be mounted inside the Upper Platform, resulting in a low location of the Center of Gravity.

The AFT Cabin is an integrated structure, fabricated from aluminum honeycomb panels with bonded aluminum sheets. The AFT Cabin is capable of supporting the visual display projector platform with no other required support structure.

The AFT Cabin includes the following:

* Two adjustable instructor seats
* Linear rail system with positioning locking, mounted in the AFT Cabin floor.
* Wall to wall carpet
* Overhead lighting system
* Electronic racks with front and rear doors
* Cooling fans for electronic racks
* AFT Cabin to Cockpit interface
* Visual Display interface
